Well here we are, well into 2012 and the world is getting worse and worse. What have we done? I ask that because we are the ones that dictate what has become acceptable and normal practice in the society we live in.
I come from the “free love”, “if it feels good do it”, “don’t judge me”, and a host of other “touchy feely” sayings and opinions that are just FALSE teachings. We have (as a society) done our best to absolve everybody of all responsibility for all things in their lives.
Well it will be very unpopular to be said but I am going to say it anyway. At no place in the scriptures have I found that we have been excused from being human and making errors in the way we lead our lives. But, we have turned our lives over to “experts” that have any number of degrees from any number of universities that have gone out of their way to make sure that an entire generation has been raised to drive their lives in directly the opposite direction of the Holy Scriptures and just the general principals of living a “good clean life”, nor having a foundation to stand on other than, “this is what I want to do, live with it”. This, my friends is just the height of falsehood. There are those that want to say, “it doesn’t hurt you so don’t worry about it, it’s none of your business anyway”. I am here to say “NOT TRUE!!!!!”
We have raised an entire generation of lazy, fruitless folks that have no sense of pride in their work, the way they live, nor even themselves. We have 25, and 35 year old people that are living in Mom and Dad’s basements, spare bedrooms, garages, their siblings and the like with no direction in life but to get high, drunk, sell drugs, steal, or just play video games. Yes I said, we, the fault is not entirely the devil’s. We had to let him in and listen to his trash for it to get here. After all he can only do what we allow; and I am so depressed to have to say this is true not only in the secular world but in the Christian world as well and just as prominent.
Now I must get this point in, I’m not beating up the young only. In my area alone the 50 and 60 plus year olds that have been busted for selling drugs, assaulting children, stealing, embezzling, any and everything the young are doing. These people I hold much more responsible because they are suppose to be the roll models for the young. For we are bound to raise our children the way we would like to see them live and conduct themselves. After all these people are from my generation, and that friends really gets my goat. As I get older and my immortality fades away I worry about what I have left behind for my children and grand-children.
It is plainly shameful the number of places we can’t go because, nothing can be said about the “blood” or “no testimony no preaching, just sing and tell jokes, your job is to entertain only”. It is thru and by the shed blood of Jesus Christ we have the hope of life everlasting, and only that. Many still don’t know why or how to avoid the reward of our works. And friends rest assured those rewards will be given according to our works. Our calling and our responsibility is not to only tickle the ear, but, to carry the word of God wherever we go and every time we go. To that call we are committed to remain true. We believe the Word of God is true and will do or best to take to all those places that will have us. For I tell you readers that if we do not turn this society around it will surely go in the way of Sodom and Gomorra. That people is a fact of the Word.
I am calling on God’s people to get involved in your community, church, and schools as well as everything you involve yourself in. I am not saying that you should run out and beat everybody over the head with the gospel, FOLLOW YOUR CALLING!!!!! STUDY YOUR WORD!!!!! All that other stuff will come into line. I believe the Gospel is for everybody; that wants to listen. And there my friends lies the rub. Carry the cross wherever God leads you, but when you are rejected don’t stay and continue to attempt to beat back the resistance with your perseverance, in my opinion there is where we as God’s chosen are running aground. I believe we are getting into God’s purview at that point, our job is to carry the word and let God make it grow. Could that be where we have let our leading get misdirected? People in general, not just God’s people, have this wonderful thing called free will. God allows us to choose what opinions we follow and what absolutes to follow, oh yes there are absolutes. I know that is not an accepted view, but it is true. This is such a wonderful place, America, we have the right to say almost anything; it is, however a shame most don’t have a clue there is not a right to make anybody listen.
